How to add a spin wheel overlay to OBS

TumbleDraw gives you a link you paste into OBS or Streamlabs as a browser source. The wheel or lotto machine appears on stream with a transparent background, viewers enter by typing in chat, and you draw the winner with a chat command.

1. Make your overlay link

  1. Open the Twitch wheel spinner (or the lotto ball picker).
  2. In the Twitch chat tab, type your channel name and the entry keyword, !join by default.
  3. Choose the style (Wheel or Lotto balls) above the picker, and set the spin length, colors and win effect in Settings.
  4. Press Copy next to OBS browser source link. Your choices are saved in the link.

2. Add it to OBS Studio

  1. In the Sources panel, press + and choose Browser. Name it, for example Giveaway wheel.
  2. Paste your link in the URL box.
  3. Set Width and Height to 600. Any square size works; bigger sizes are sharper.
  4. Untick Shutdown source when not visible, so entries aren't lost when you switch scenes.
  5. Tick Control audio via OBS if you want the spin sound in your stream mix with its own volume slider.
  6. Press OK, then drag and resize the wheel where you want it.

3. Or add it to Streamlabs Desktop

  1. In Sources, press +, choose Browser Source and press Add Source.
  2. Paste your link as the URL, set the width and height to 600, and press Done.

4. Run the giveaway

  1. Tell chat to type !join. Each viewer is added once, and names appear on the wheel as they join.
  2. When you're ready, type !spin in chat. You and your moderators can do this; other viewers can't.
  3. The winner shows on stream with your win effect.

You can also spin with your mouse: right-click the source in OBS, choose Interact, and click the wheel.
