Yes or no wheel

Ask your question, spin, and let the wheel decide. It's a true 50/50, and you can add Maybe or tip the odds with the ready-made lists.

0 entries Click the picker, press the button, or hit Ctrl+Enter

Tip: repeat a name on several lines to give it extra chances.

How many entries: the wheel stays easy to read up to about 50 names and shows names up to 200. The lotto machine holds up to 60 balls at once. Bigger lists work in both, and every entry keeps an equal chance.

How to use it

  1. Think of a yes or no question.
  2. Press Spin or tap the wheel.
  3. The pointer lands on your answer.

Want more options? Pick one from Ready-made lists and press Load, or type your own answers in the Entries box, one per line.

Changing the odds

Each line on the list is one slice with an equal chance. Put Yes on two lines and No on one, and yes comes up about two times in three. The Mostly yes and Mostly no lists do this for you.

Good questions for the wheel

  • Should I order takeout tonight?
  • Do we play one more round?
  • Should I text them back now?
  • Is today a gym day?
  • Truth or dare? (change the slices to Truth and Dare)

For streamers

Let chat's fate ride on the wheel: connect your channel in the Twitch chat tab and add the overlay link to OBS. You or your mods can spin it with !spin. See the OBS overlay guide.

Questions

Is the yes or no wheel really 50/50?

Yes. With one Yes and one No, each has exactly the same chance. The answer comes from your browser's cryptographic random generator, and the spin animation just lands on it.

Can I add Maybe?

Yes. Choose Yes, no or maybe from Ready-made lists and press Load, or type Maybe on a new line in the Entries box.

Can I make yes more likely?

Yes. Put Yes on more lines than No. Each line is one slice with an equal chance, so two Yes lines and one No gives yes two chances in three.

Can I use it as a coin flip?

Yes. Load Heads or tails from Ready-made lists. It's a fair 50/50 just like a coin.
